Spiritual warfare is something many people don’t pay much attention to these days. Perhaps the reason why is because some people see a demon behind everything. If they get a red light instead of a red light, they blame it on the devil. If they get Polynesian sauce instead of Chick-fil-A sauce, then the cashier was demon possessed. If the sound system goes bad during the church service rest assured the devil is working overtime. Every Sunday morning it seems like your back aches more than normal, you’ve got a new cold and cough, and the devil is fighting you from attending church. The reality is you hit the stop light at the wrong time, the cashier misheard which sauce you wanted, technology is just problematic sometimes, and on Sunday’s you’re trying to find excuses to not go to church. No, I do not believe there is a demon behind every aspect in your life, and we are too quick to give the devil credit for things he did not do. Although, the greatest aspect of spiritual warfare is not casting out demons and fighting with the devil, but the war between God and Satan over truth and error.
I cycled across America in 30 days and wrote a book about it! Check it out: https://www.amazon.com/Coast-Spiritual-Lessons-Bicycle-Seat/dp/1683147766
