Summertime equals vacation time for Americans. It’s that thing where we save every extra dollar throughout the year so we can spend a fortune living like kings and queens for a week! The average American spends $1,145 per person on vacation. So, for a family of four that would equal $4,580 on vacation. Imagine, it takes the average American one month to make that amount of money. 160 hours, at minimum, just to blow it all away in one week. When it comes to the amount of money you spend on vacation, let every person be fully persuaded in their own mind! I don’t know how many people still do this, but years ago when people travelled, they would often buy inexpensive post cards to send a note to a family member or close friend. For those of you that were born in the 21st century, a postcard “is a card for sending a message by mail without an envelope, typically having a photograph or other illustration on one side.” Whatever you’d write was seen by anyone who carried it. 2 John has been described as a postcard letter revealing the need for truth and love to abide in the church! Love is vain if it has not truth, and truth is void if it has not love!

I cycled across America in 30 days and wrote a book about it! Check it out: https://www.amazon.com/Coast-Spiritual-Lessons-Bicycle-Seat/dp/1683147766
