So I’m convinced there are three types of people when it comes to vacationing? First, the one who goes to the exact same place year after year. Second, the one who goes to a different place every year to experience new things and to see new sights. Third, the one who doesn’t see a need for vacation. Instead, they would rather just receive an extra pay check and keep on working. Which kind of vacationer are you? That said, one of the most common places to vacation is Gatlinburg, TN. Honestly, I’ve been there so many times, it’s no longer special to me. When I was in college, we would take a trip to Gatlinburg at least once a semester, and it was often to the aquarium. I remember vividly walking by an exhibit while a bunch of sting rays with many people putting their hands in the water to pet them. NO THANK YOU! One of the things about the aquarium in Gatlinburg that stands out to me is the part where you’re walking through the tunnel and if you look up, to the left or the right, fish are everywhere. Have you ever walked through something like that in an aquarium? Just as the glass holds back the water there, God supernaturally held back the water to allow the Israelites to cross through the Red Sea. God’s mighty miraculous power directs us, protects us and delivers us from the trials of life!
I cycled across America in 30 days and wrote a book about it! Check it out: https://www.amazon.com/Coast-Spiritual-Lessons-Bicycle-Seat/dp/1683147766
