Just as oil and water repel each other, today’s culture repels the truth about sin. What’s the truth about sin, you ask? The unraveling reality is we are all sinners and destined for the judgment of God. The unwanted truth is God is light and in Him there is no darkness, no sin. None. Nadda. He is perfect and He cannot allow sin into heaven. Romans 3:10-12, 23; 6:23; 5:12, 8 all testify to this end. No matter how strong of a force today’s world pushes back to the concept of sin, no matter how much they belittle it, no matter how many excuses they make for it, no matter how many different names they give it, if God declares it is sin, then it is sin! What’s the truth about sin, you ask? Sin is incompatible with God!
