Jesus is called the Advocate, Almighty, Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the Ending, the Amen, the Author and Finisher of our faith, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of peace, Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Son of God, the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Resurrection, the Door, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, and the Great I Am. Our Lord is described with many names, but in this passage He is called the Great High Priest!
