What city would you like to go to that you’ve never been to before? Growing up, I always wanted to go visit Philadelphia, PA. No, not to visit Rocky’s famous staircase nor to go see Allen Iverson play. I wanted to go there just to skateboard at LOVE PARK. That park was a safe haven for skaters to freely do tricks without any interference from the police. Perhaps that’s why it’s known as the city of brotherly love. In today’s text, we are going to learn about an ancient city called Philadelphia with a church that is described as being faithful. God is calling every Christian in every congregation in every generation to be faithful!
