Solomon was quite the character in the Old Testament. From the wisdom that attracted people to hear him to his massive wealth to his 700 wives and 300 concubines, his life is highly memorable to the student of the Bible. At first, is affection was solely upon God, but as he gained life experience his heart was shifted to seeking wealth, wine, and women. Solomon is a testament, from Ecclesiastes, that when your eyes are not focused upon the Lord, one is left to wallowing in their sin. He writes this book with the concluding premise, man’s purpose to is glorify God! Our goal in 2023 should be to glorify God by fearing Him, obeying Him, and praising Him!
